charlie jamieson fell asleep only a few hours after he was born on the 28th of march 2002 he was
born after only 28 weeks. his lungs did not develop properly. After weeks of going back & forwards
to hospital as his mams waters broke very early. So the lungs just never developed so on the day of
the 27th of march i get a phone call telling me that my wife is in labour. After 10 hours my first
son was born it was 2.15 i remember watching him come out i was so happy and for just for a second
every thing was ok. I did not even dream anything was wrong i was so happy i phoned every one my
brother steven came straight up my dad my mam was already there. They put him into an incubator
where he lasted for around 4 hours then the doctor came in and asked us probably the hardest
question any one could ask some one." Due to the fact that his lungs are not developed there is no
hope of him pulling through its only the air that they are giving him that's keeping him alive he
said. We would ask for your consent to us giving him a needle so that he passes away peacefully as
if we keep him on the air it will rupture his in sides. So as are harts sank in to the floor they
brought him in to the room were we where. We had a few minuets giving him loves & hugs & lots of
kisses then the priest came in and christened him and as he lay in my arms he passed away. For as
soon as god gave him to us he took him back there must be a reason for this but only god Knows this
and only a few months later my wife was pregnant again and my son Rhys was born 8 months later. Now
i no why god took him it was to give him back to us in a stronger body so i thank god for my son
rhys.. So as we only met charlie briefly i no that There is i bit of him in rhys. rest in peace are
beautiful boy love for ever & ever dad & mam. xxxxxx

Lord, in this hour I need you, more than words could ever tell.
I feel as if I'm stranded on shores between heaven and hell...
I know you haven't left me, yet my heart feels void of hope.
I feel as if I'm hanging on an old and thread worn rope...
I feel as if my hearts been torn from the breast from which it came.
And sunshine will no longer fill my life, only clouds of darkness and rain...
I know this will pass,
and you will be there to give me comfort and strength and hope.
But until then I can't help the feeling that I'm down to that last thread of rope...
If it breaks, you'll be there to catch me, and raise me back to my feet...
But for now my world is in turmoil, and the essence of life is not sweet...
Give me power to overcome my oppression, and let sunshine back on my face.
Let your spirit overwhelm my cold dark heart,
and let me bask in your warmth giving grace...
Give rest to my tempest of yearning, and faith to my sore lacking soul.
